New LTSB Current A/C

Hi,
I hold 2 Savings accounts with LTSB which will not be transferred to TSB. I applied for a Classic Current Account last weekend, account was opened but it never appeared on my existing internet banking but received new user id. Basically I know have a user id to access my 2 savings account and user id to access Current Account.
Is that normal? I thought when applied their system will automatically trace existing customer details and new account will be linked to existing internet banking.
Also when I click on to apply for a Second current account it has a message "Cannot offer secondary c/a" will this be because I am a new customer? I heard online this happens if you have a "Policy Decline Mark" on your account.
Thanks
MS

I think they limit what you can do for a couple of months after making changes to an account (such as changing overdraft and adding a new account / credit card)0

Can't comment from experience about 2 userids for online access - - I would just ask them to merge the two.
Regarding additional current accounts - this has been experienced before. You would need to ring them, or go into Branch, to apply for another one.0 -

As far as I'm aware, new accounts opened with Lloyds TSB will all become TSB accounts. This may explain why you've been given a separate internet banking account as your existing accounts are staying with Lloyds; this internet banking account should then become TSB.0 -
How did you apply for the current account?
Did you by any chance apply in a branch that will become TSB?
By the way previous poster Ed-1 is incorrect in what he says - if you open a brand new account at Lloyds Tsb; where it ends up depends on the branch it is opened at - the branches are supposed to tell customers this and they should be given the choice of whether to proceed or not.0 -
I applied for the account online. It does state on application page "Later this year some Lloyds TSB branches and customer accounts will move to TSB. If your application is successful, your new current account will be a Lloyds TSB current account and will not be included in the move to TSB." so my account should stay with Lloyds TSB.
The correspondence I received was from Direct Current Account account opening Team. The sort code they given to me is 77-85-59 which is an ex TSB sort codes.0 -

On the online banking it says the exact opposite. It says that all new online accounts will be transferred to TSB.0 -

This makes no sense, really - - the split isn't by type of account.0
