How long does it take to move house?

Once the mortgage and offer is accepted, it has been 2 weeks since i have found out the mortgage had been accepted. Thanks

Is the chain complete? If not, you could be waiting a very long time.0 -
Completely depends on each sale. If there is a chain, like Annisele says, you could be waiting a while as everyone has to move at exactly the same time. If not, it could be very quick.0

As others have said it depends on how many people in the chain, but with no chain above & selling to ftb's I've always found the legals have taken approx 12 weeks from offer to completion.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Can be slightly longer than 12 weeks if a flat, especially if waiting on 'management packs', etc.
