Domestic and General ..Arggggggghhhhh....

Hello all, I am at the end of the line dealing with Domestic and General and need some advice..
I had an accedent with my television and called D&G and filed a claim, they gave me a claim number and the repair company number....all good so far..
The repair company picked up the television on 26th June, and till this day, 13th July, 17 days they are still "waiting for the part"
I contacted D&G and they said that I have to wait until the part arrives and the repair is done..
Question ..D&G policy says they will wait a reasonable time......can anyone tell me what D&G considers a reasonable time ? It seems that they think reasonable is 12 months !!!
Any suggestions will be most welcome.

I'd expect a repair within 2 weeks, but would say it's safe to assume anything above 30 days of your claim being accepted to be unreasonable.0
