Tried claiming PPI back but not heard from claim company...

Hi Guys,

In July of last year, I contacted one of the PPI claims companies to see if we could claim back anything from past loans/ credit cards etc. (I know, I know- I didn't realise at the time just how simple it would be to do it myself!) Well, they got back to us near enough straight away saying that the majority of our loans were all PPI free but there is one HP agreement that I believe did have PPI on it- anyway, like I say, we started the ball rolling over a year ago but have never had a resolution or anything else from the company regarding this loan so my question is, if I now make the claim myself using the forms on this website, are they still going to try and take a big chunk of the money or is there some sort of statute of limitation where if they can't be bothered to do any of the work, they get none of the money?!!

Thanks in advance for your help,

Yes, they will take it, no statute of limitations

I would chase them up first to be honest and see what they have to say for themselves.

Okay McKneff- thankyou very much for replying. In that case, they can have a (virtual!) kick up the bum on Monday and will then be getting them regularly from then on!! I'm not going to do any work if they're going to get the dosh anyway!

Have a look at the contract you signed with them before you do, just to make sure that they haven't put an 'end' date.
