Hello, im looking to get a replacement laptop for my son, after 9 years the screen has given up the ghost, though still works well on a external screen.
Im looking for suggestions for a laptop in the 4-5 year old range which can play flash games, in the £100 to £175 mark, which if im careful would most likely purchase off ebay. thanks in advance.

Toshiba Satellite C850-19Z £173.94
Buy it right now.0 -
Will need a bit more RAM when you can find the funds. Perhaps at least another 2GB RAM module...or at least uninstall some of the unnecessary software installed.
If things are tight, you could always consider a Netbook. MSI Wind U180 for £113.94.
Again a RAM upgrade to 2GB should help.0 -
Thanks for your help so far nifty, as i say his old machine is a toshiba a60 so i think any working one will be a plus.
Can you or anyone recommend an acer aspire which will do the job.0 -

I already recommended a machine. Seems you didn't like it. You won't get anything better.
But good luck looking. I won't recommend anything without a full warranty, so I'll have to leave it to someone else.0 -

Seemed you had no problem last year and purchased a Toshiba from Argos Outlet without drama.
Shame that you felt the need to write such a negative comment.
Let's hope you can find a more friendly forum then. But ironically, there you are asking about the orange squash that has been spilled on your Toshiba.... perhaps you are just upset, so a bit of 'passive aggression' was the order of the day for you.0 -
Yes I got help last year which was very much appreciated .
There were no big mouths or knowalls about then .........0 -
