Can anyone help me, i am not sure how to make an appeal for this pcn.
On the 31/05/13 i was parked with wheels on the footpath in a residential road. this road is such one that if you don't park on the footpath, you risk been crashed into or other road users would not be able to drive through.

There were no signs saying you could not park on the pathway, about four of us were parked that way.

I was just in the house looking at the car when the attendant arrived, i got into my car and proceeded to drive. then the attendant proceeded taking pictures of me whilst i was driving and started shouting at me " you are going to get a ticket in the post anyway"

what am i to do in such situation as i got a ticket in the post dated 4/7/13

Although i have requested for a photographic evidence which they say would be in the post to me.

What do i enter as my representation. pls....

    Do you deny the offence?

If not why request photographic evidence?

A friend of mine was in a similar situation. He had parked on the footpath, but had allowed enough room for a double buggy or wheelchair to get through.

When he got a ticket he appealed, and enclosed a flyer that had been put under his neighbours wiper by the fire service, asking people to park considerately, allowing room for a fire appliance to get through. So his argument was that he had allowed enough room on the footpath, and had also allowed enough room for a fire engine. He won the appeal.

What the hell??????? It's not a crime! How is your response helpful?

All PCNs should be appealed IMHO. And this person says they have got a postal PCN which may well be flawed, such that the Council will end up cancelling it or losing at adjudication in the end.

    Most motorists win at adjudication.

The OP should post on pepipoo and learn how to win the appeal and find out what is (probably) flawed about that postal PCN and/or other letters during the appeal process. Councils get the procedures wrong all the time and they are surely far more answerable for their failings than someone who has simply parked with thought given to other road-users (not committed a crime).

cre8tivekids, post there and appeal it successfully then pm the above poster when you win in the end, to tell him.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
