Noise coming from tower when I run Chrome

When I open google chrome I can hear a strange noise coming from my tower. I'm running XP and the tower is over 6 years old. I can't hear it with any other browser. It only makes the noise once initially while the google homepage is loading. Any ideas, it's very odd and I only noticed it yesterday (I did install a new led monitor the other day). Thanks
