My tax free allowance

i have got a few questions to ask the tax people about my tax free allowance but i can not find a contact number anywhere could somebody give me one . And is it possible to call them from a jobcentre as i have been told that you can be waiting for a long time before you get through to then which costs a lot of money

    Your personal tax allowance for this year should be £9440 - unless you have received any benefits in kind that caused any underpayments to tax due in a previous tax year. Last year was £8105. It should be expressed 944L or 810L on your payslips. The tax office enquiry line is charged at local rates and you should not be on hold very long.
