anyone used a polish builder? what wer your experiences? , also how long can they undercut british builders as inexorably their cost of living (rent, food, clothing, heat etc)will be the same as virtually everyone else's surely?

My experience has been that there are good and bad tradesmen of every nationality so you can't generalise that way.
My experience has also been that Polish skilled workers are hard working and reliable. I think the same rules apply as with any builder - if you can find someone whose work locally you can see, with recommendations from those they have worked for, then that is worth a lot. And, as usual, get a few estimates.0 -

what i finally found out was an aquaintance hires hourly and pays £10 per hour per person cash in hand
oh and they were satisfied with the work and work ethic.0
