Payday loan saying they don't report to credit bureau?!?

Hi guys
Before I got bailed out by my family, I was in the process of setting up a DMP with StepChange. All my creditors were notified, however, I managed to pay off the payday loans before their due dates and before the DMP start date.
I questioned my creditors a number of times about the status on my credit file eventhough I was paying before the due date, and it was confirmed that I would not have a default or a late payment mark because I was paying before the due date.
This all occurred in May 2013. I have recently checked my credit report, and pounds to pocket have placed a default on my file, and quickquid have placed a 'late payment'
I have called both companies and they have said that they don't understand what has happened because they don't report to credit bureaus. But they both appear on call credit. But not on experian or equifax.
What should I do?!?!?

Be surprising if they didn't report their data.0 -
They obviously do report if the data is on your file. No point trying to call them, the people you speak to will likely not have a clue.
If you disagree with the default and paid back the loan as it fell due originally then write to both lenders and state this and that the default is therefore not accurate and you require them to remove it from your call credit file.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Quick quid do report to call credit.
As Tixy says, complain in writing. They are less likely to fob you off with information that is not correct. You can refer to FOS after 8 weeks if they don't reply or fob you off.:beer:0
