gloss worked well for me, plus ireplaced the handles and got some chrome ones from Argos which were extremely cheap0

I got some silver handles from B&Q, individual price of £4 each but about £15 for apack of 10 if i remember rightly, Take an over sixty year old with you on a wednesday and get 10% off, they look good as well.Steve Gerrard is a GOD0

If you have an Ikea near you they do 6 handles or knobs for £1. I have a mixture of these in my kitchen they are brushed metal not plastic and they look fab - not cheap at all.
