Free things to do in Cardiff (regular hobbies)

I'm really bored all the time and Cardiff is pretty close. I don't have many interests but would definitely look into trying something new if it's free. What can you suggest?

Have you looked on the council website? Or is there a separate 'What to Do' type website?

I was browsing my local council website and found a free council run gym for teenagers, much to the delight of my youngest son who started there last night.

Libraries and community centres may also have information about local groups.

You could also consider volunteering. I'm a Rainbow and Brownie leader and although it isn't 'just an hour a week' as people often think, I have a great time. There's always something to do between meetings, and you can make new friends as well as offer new opportunities to youngsters.

Bookcrossing it's where you put out books for people to find and then they go on bookcrossing website to say they found it.I'm never good at explaining it better off typing bookcrossing.com in google.They also have meet ups talking to people at obcz (official bookcrossing zone) where there's a permanent bookshelf where you can collect books in coffee shops etc.
