Anyone applied for a Tesco credit card recently?

As per the title really, has anyone applied for a Tesco card recently? I applied online after receiving a mailer in the post, I was accepted online and have signed all the credit agreement digitally but was wondering how long the cards are taking to come through at the moment?

The card I appled for was 0% for 18 months on purchases or 0% on balance transfers for 9 months but with a 2.9% fee.

I have a very large (and unexpected!) bill that I will need to pay soon and would rather put it on as a purchase to avoid the 2.9% fee of a balance transfer but not sure if the card will arrive in time.

Also wondering if the credit card number will show on the online account before it arrives? I might be able to convince the company to put it through as a keyed transaction face to face - I wonder whether they would need the 3 digit security code for this?

I got one a couple of months back, took about 5 working days to arrive.

I couldn't set up the online account without the card number. So had to wait for the card.

Thanks, did you apply online for yours? At the end of my application it prompted me to set my online account up there and then but there is no account number attached. Under the 'Your accounts' bit it says:

Credit Card Application
We're processing your recent Credit Card application. When you receive your card, please log in again to see how you can manage your account online. You can see your transactions, check your balance, make payments and more quickly and easily.

Does your card number show up on the online account?

Yes, applied, and was accepted, online.

I think, if I remember rightly, you can create your online account, but you can't manage your card until you actually get it. I don't think I was privy to the long card number until the card actually turned up.

You have to call them to active the card as well once you get it.

My application was instant accept. I had that message for about 3 days. Day 4 pin showed, Day 6 card. That was last week.

I'm another that received the card, PIN etc shortly after being accepted.

The PIN came first after a couple of days then the card followed shortly after.

They asked me for proof of income, because my application had to be verified by the staff. Took ~4 weeks for the card to finally arrive.

Even if you do over the phone, you'll need the 4 digits.

I applied for a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card on Saturday 20th July and got Instant Approval, then received the PIN on the following Wednesday, just received the Card yesterday.

Out of curiosity can anyone tell me what credit limit they received just so I can compare to mine as I received a £600 limit?
