Does anyone know if there is a Max number of time you could do the switch service from one current account?
I have an old Barclays current account that i don't use i have used it once to get the FlexDirect bonus but am thinking of opening a Halifax current account for the £100 joining bonus and the £5 a month?
also is applying for 3 current accounts a good idea in the space of a month or two?

Searches show for a year so if you want credit soon might not be a good idea.
Maybe apply online and hit send at exacly the same time for all 3 some none of them see the other searches0 -
The latest from Halifax appears to be that you must agree to closing the account that you switch from. So that would make the max number = 1.
Not aware that any other bank has got such terms but when the new switcher service comes into force in September industry-wide, the old account gets automatically closed, apparently.0
