I want to sort my emails into different folders.

I know I have done this before but can not remember/see how to add a new folder.

Can anyone please help?

    Click on your email.

    Click on the move to icon above you. should be 5th icon.

    Scroll down to create new and you can name your new folder.

    GMail isn't about folders, it's about labels. Some email clients (Thunderbird, Outlook) will interoperate treating labels as folders, but in the GMail interface, it's all about labels (which is great - an email can have multiple labels, but can't be in multiple folders!)
