Free view question..

having searched the forum i think i have the answer to one of my questions, but just for me, could someone say ' if i can simply plug in a free view box where my (now broken) satellite box was'
ie - i plug the satalite cable from the dish into the freeview box, and everything would work ok.
(we haven't subscribed to sky for years)

and, any recommendations for which freeview box to buy or avoid.

I live in an area where there is no/poor coverage yet, but later this year we are the first to be switched over to digital:eek: .I was planning on just using the sky box but it has now stopped working.
thanks for looking..
Not ashamed to say ABBA are Great :j
