Ikea Sofa + Delivery Charge

It seems as soon as something out of the norm happens the wheels fall off and customer service dont know how to answer your question.
I have a simple problem. The sofa we want to buy is not in stock at the local store. It is not a built to order item. It's simply a case of the cover colour we want is not in stock. Lead time is 4 weeks.
We could buy it online and pay a hefty £30 delivery charge. It also says on the web site, go in store to order this item.
So i phoned customer services and asked if i went to the store to order this out of stock item, what will be the delivery charge. After quoting me a few figures she said because it's out of stock it will be delivered free.
Despite this and picking up on her vagueness i decided to try online chat. The person i spoke to was also clueless. He quoted me £60 and kept saying i could pick the frame up.
The frame is no good to me without the cover (which is the problem here).
So, anybody have any ideas if Ikea will charge me delivery for going into store to order an out of stock item.
I dont want to waste a 30 min journey to find it's going to cost me £60 to have it delivered.
Thanks
