hi, i reccommend a site called https://www.websiteboffin.co.uk if you want a nice looking site with stuff like shopping cart and contact forms this is good, you pay about your usual hosting price for a year (about £60) but from normal companies thats all you get but with this you dont have to know anything about websites and techie language etc but get everything you need on top of the hosting (termplates, content etc) for next to nothing. I think if you want a free one, it shows as they are generally plastered in ugly ads and look unproffessional. I also think this includes a domain name too (ie https://www.blahblah.co.uk) hope this helps.0

If you do decide to build a site yourself (from scratch or using templates), check out the Web Design forum for the magazine PC Advisor. There are lots of people will give you feedback on the appearance/usability/coding of your site, and you can also ask for help if you have any problems.0

Simply, you will not get a professional looking website by making it yourself. Pay someone and get it done properly0

If you have some budget to play with try http://www.rentacoder.com where people bid to build your project. Read the instructions carefully and specify as fully as you can if you use this service for best results.
Have you used this before? How safe are our credit card details as they wont accept PAYPAL for some strange reason.Matched betting proceeds so far: £505.000 -

I did register on there a couple of years ago, but never used it. I know a few people who have both bought coding and sold services on there and were pleased. Have a look at http://www.rentacoder.com/RentACoder/SoftwareBuyers/FAQ.asp#payment regarding the payments. It's a well etablished site and uses feedback similar to eBay for rating coders.0 -
Googlepages is absolutely free and is very easy to use.
You need a google email address though. Should be easy enough to get one of these from someone else on here.0 -
Does anyone know if there is a design service that specialises in website design for driving schools? Also, what is the approx price for paying someone to do a decent site?
Many thanks0
