Hello
I couldn't see that a thread had been started yet, so hope you don't mind me doing one - please merge if I've missed it.
It's actually been a long time since I meal planned/posted on here (April last year ), but I moved in with my boyfriend in April of this year and I've really struggled not meal planning. Too many nights of 'what do you fancy?!' has resulted in eating rubbish and wasting money. I'm used to a bit of organisation!
So, time to be strict! I've decided to get back into it and have made a list of meals we both like (i'm pretty easy, but he suffers from IBS, so some things aren't an option for him - plus, he too often resorts to a packet of biscuits which really isn't good!)
Anyway, that's enough of my rambling. Here's the plan :-
Monday - tarragon chicken with new potatoes/pasta
Tuesday - (something) omelette with potato wedges
Wednesday - sweet and sour chicken with rice
Thursday - pasta bake of some description
Friday - chicken kievs with something
Saturday - fish pie
Sunday - homemade pizza with salad/potato wedges
I have little doubt it won't go entirely to plan, but I will try my hardest

Hi
I am trying to remember as it was a while ago when I made a batch and froze it!
The base was just Jalfrezi paste from a jar and a carton of passata. Lime juice from a bottle. I think it was kidney beans and a tin of baked beans (I would have chucked the liquid from the tin of kidney beans in.) I think there are frozen peppers and greens in there too. Sliced onions. I lobbed it all in the slow cooker
Sorry I have no idea what the quantities were!Love and compassion to all x0 -
