Not keen on the new Orla Kiely bags . They look nice online but in the flesh not so great I thought. Plenty in Sh$ffield Spittal.
However, I loved the Owl print. I have bought one only to find when I got home that my daughter has declared it her for school swimming next term :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
They had loads of all the designs in Swindon (Ocotal Way) the other day.0

quite a tidy way to be seen around the shops. not seeing them on ebay yet so might have to check out tesco. Thanks OP!0

Is that the blue Owl bag your all mentioning? I don't think the Owl print is an Orla Kiely bag,-correct me if I'm wrong! I think its Tesco own brand bag, if you look on the label it will tell you if it's a Orla Kiely designed bag or not. It is very similar in style though.0

The blue owl bag is not one of the Orla Kiely ones, it's from a different range (the ones that were previously available in some of the Cath Kidston designs). It's made from recycled plastic bottles so it is waterproof and therefore great as a swimming bag or for picnics.0 -
I got an Orla Keily limited edition jute bag in my local Tesco yesterday , £4 reduced to £2. Really pleased , it is different shades of grey with large circles and boxes.
Good bag for £4 terrific for £2.0 -
LOVE orla kiely but usually balk at the high prices - will be stalking my local tescos til I find one of these! Just hope I don't manage to buy everything except the kitchen sink when I go in to get it - I'm trying to avoid money-trapping supermarkets at the mo whilst I'm on a money diet (but think these lovely bags justify breaking that diet)0

Yes, it's not an Orla Kiely bag and is more floppy in style. It's exactly like the previous Cath Kidston bags, waterproof. I liked the design better but obviously my daughter saw it and wanted it for herself.0 -
Got some bags at Tesco Extra Stockport. Am gonna use a couple for additions to birthday presents for people - they would make a nice thing to put the actual present in, then wrap up the lot, so there's actually two presents in there.0

My gorgeous birdy one has the print upside down on one side, is this a rare find or are they all like that? Not sure if it annoys me or not!
Eta. Looks like they're all like that from the photos on eBay, presuming its one piece of fabric for the sides and bottom haven't got it with me to look.:eek::eek:0
