Likely credit limit for a Tesco 0% Purchases Credit Card

Hi, I'm in the process of moving house and will be purchasing new white goods, new bathroom suite and other decorating items from the leftover proceeds of my current house sale.

I was wondering if it was wise to apply for a Tesco 0% purchases credit card to make these purchases on and put my sale proceeds in a savings account until it's due to be paid off. Does anyone know what credit limits are being issued. I'm on a salary of just under £33k

I'm aware of the pitfalls of applying for new credit whilst in the process of moving, but just wondered if it would be worth doing.

Credit limits vary according to customer. There's no way of knowing in advance, although the higher risk you are and the more available credit elsewhere, the lower it is likely to be.
