    Morning everyone

Hugs to all those that are feeling sad/poorly x

Bit of a late one for me, ran out of time first thing as had to be a dentist early, as i was first appointment of the day. All good though, apart from the cost for sitting in the chair for 5-10mins!

Sunny, bright and very warm here. Washing on the line. Plants watered.

DH up and off to work but not stupid early.

Dinner last night was fish, chips, beans for the menfolk, and fish, jacket potato and green beans for me, tonight I'm not sure what we will be having - won't be anything to difficult though.

Been to the bank, and then done the food shopping, couldn't believe how quiet everywhere is - bank, supermarkets etc - everyone enjoying the sunshine I think! Was going to do some baking but now not sure I can be bothered - think I may just take my book and sit in my relaxer chair in the garden for a bit, want to see if I can get a bit of a suntan before mum and dads Golden Wedding party so won't need to wear tights if it's still this warm.

Have a good day - remember the suncream if you're out in the sun!

    Keep safe and well x

    Afternoon all,

Glad it wasn't only me TTFTM !

Had an email to say I hadn't got an interview. It honestly took me around four hours to fill in the application, oh well their loss:(
The good news is DS3 has a part time job at the big hotel were he did his work experience, he has some temporary work over the summer and then a weekend job on the Concierge desk, he has to wear a long coat and a hat with a feather in:rotfl: he is already adding up the tips he will receive from the rich celebs and footballers that stay there:T lol.
Helen sorry to hear that big hugs. X

Two lots of washing dry and lots of big juicy strawberries picked. I enjoyed the gym managed a twenty minute walk with two one minute runs and then a nice leisurely swim in the pool, lovely.
Just waiting for dh so I can do my Aldi shop, salad for tea and we will share a nice bottle of white wine.
I've noticed today after fasting yesterday that I'm not starving and seem to be making healthy choices, does anyone else find this happens with them. I've only done one day though:o

    Hi all

More brainfog today; can barely keep track of my own name, let alone anything else:( – Jessie's mealtimes are programmed into the PDA so that she eats on time.;) So using a word.doc for replies again.
Happy Belated Birthday to young Miss Bitsy.:bdaycake:
Dumpling that's good that you don't have to see the psychiatrist again unless you feel the need; I must admit, the “being dragged out for coffee and a chat” sounds very scary to me, but I'm not at all social.

Helen aww, honey, you and DH must be so worried – major coping vibes for you. And I've said it before, you know where my pm box is if you need it.:o

Going to take Jessie out for walkies in a few minutes – see if we can get our walk done without meeting anyone, this time:eek: (fingers crossed). I have a bag of poo to deposit at the poo-bin, too. Little madam had her walk this morning, then half an hour later went out into the garden and did her business there!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Afternoon all,

finally a chance to pop in!

It is warm here but the blue skies became cloudy earlier so now its just warm and rather muggy.

Watered the plants this morning before my shower (6.45am I was out there!) and then sorted myself out.

Heard from bf which was lovely to have a bit of a 'conversation' via one of the Wi-Fi apps he has put n my phone. He called me last night on the other - lovely to be able to call him of an evening just for a little catch up/to hear his voice. They are playing as I type but there's no stream for this one so I will have to wait to see the results posted online.

With the knowledge I have to make myself be more sociable and try to develop something which resembles a network of friends in the local area I am today meeting someone I once worked with for a bit after work!

We are going for ice cream and then to the park with her little one which will be a delight for me :) And then I will go home and play with the doglet, do a little round the house. If it cools down I may do some ironing - if not I will just focus my efforts on the filing I need to do at home!

Hoe everyone is well and doing ok in this weather - remember to drink plenty of fluids and keep sun safe :)

    Best wishes to Helen

Well, today wasn't quite as bad as yesterday, but I still had things left over which have got to go to my job share partner. Even as I was being given stuff I was telling them that I won't have time to do it, but they don't really listen.

But it's done until next Thursday, so try and forget it now.

I'm really shattered, so I'm just going to have a rest and a read

I am so pleased for you and hope you really enjoy using the nicely decorated spaces. We should be thinking of getting the hall and landing etc done but are put off by the time and expense. Might get samples of wallpaper and involve dds in planning. I am still waiting for new kitchen doors, tiling and worktops and we have been here for nearly three years now!

We got a courtesy car today after someone slammed into the back of ours so looking forward to doing a big shop tomorrow of fruit, veg, yoghurt, cheese, eggs etc as having to schlepp all the shopping home on foot for two weeks has meant we have less food in than I would like.

I went shopping tonight at local supermarket and was stunned at all the empty shelves - turned out freezers and chiller cabinets had reacted badly to the heat

So glad there are lots of YS goods in the freezer and bits and bobs in store cupboards and that dds favourite things like mini quiches, sweet potato burgers and pizza whirls can be made cheaply from ingredients already held.

    Hug to all
