Windows clock keeps changing

I've set the correct time on the clock and i've synched it with the GMT time and saved it but when i turn the comp off - it just picks some random time and then i have to do it all over again..

Could be, but the most common reason is that the CMOS battery (watch type battery) in the motherboard is failing or running out of power.Lack of money is the root of all evil.

Most high street electical shops sell them for £2 or £3, check what type it is, by opening the case, they are usually large 3V watch batteries nowadays, also available at jewelers/watch repairers etc.
