Hi
A friend gave me her Epson CX3600 printer/scanner/copier as she bought a new one and I can't find any drivers for it?
My operating system is Windows 7 64 bit and I can't find any drivers?

Have you tried the 'Add Printer' wizard in Windows 7?0

Thanks everyone I think I've got the drivers downloaded now :-) but the colour inks is very low and its shows there's half the black ink left but can't seem to get it to print with the black only cartridge? Maybe I should take the colour cartridges out would that work?0

Assuming that you want to use the printer, you'll need to replace the ink carts...most printer only work with a full set installed.
If you're reluctant to buy carts for a printer you suspect may not be working properly, then you can always test the printer offline by printing a test page from it- no drivers are required to do that.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

You can't You said the colour cart was 'very low', not empty.
You've got a free printer, so isn't it worth a punt on a cheap compatible cartridge to test it?
If it's been sitting idle for some time then the heads are probably clogged. Run the cleaning cycle. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
If the ink shows as "very low" and won't print at all, you might need to push the "okay" or "online" button on the printer to confirm the warning and put the printer back online so it will continue printing. (That's how some of the printers I've owned have worked, anyway.)
If it tries to print, but the ink isn't visible, then the nozzles are probably blocked. You can try running the "clear nozzles" process via the printer's control panel options (in Windows), although this will use quite a bit of ink. If that doesn't work (after several attempts), you might want to try cleaning the nozzles manually... I'm not sure if some careful poking around with cotton buds and needles, maybe with some kind of solvent or isopropyl alcohol would help... Maybe worth a go if the alternative is to throw it away...?0 -
You should also say which method worked, for others who may be looking for Drivers.0
