Greying, you never fail to make me smile
I can imagine you in a hard hat 'directing' proceedings :rotfl::rotfl:My OH is just the same, I give him a whole list of things which need doing and he picks the least important first :cool:
brizzled, you have a camper too! Do you drive it? I can drive ours as I'm insured to do so but OH is so critical of my driving (despite having driven daily for over 40 years without incident :cool:) that I have yet to do so. The wing mirrors stick out a bit too far for my liking too.... Enjoy Powys, I really love it there...Sealed Pot Challenge #012

Oh Greying I had to laugh at DP's interpretation of the priority list:rotfl:
Team MM this morning consists of me making copious amounts of coffee and offering yummy things like hot cross buns whilst OH curses mildly and tries not to amputate any fingers whilst assembling an *kea metal cabinet for me:(
Our camper sleeps a few bods and is very lovely, she is known as Liffy (her model name is Lifestyle). I agree it is like having one's own very comfortable play house. Ours sat on the drive unused by us for 18 months due to surgery (mine), a broken wrist (OH) and other trying things, but we finally took her out last week and spent a very relaxing 2 days doing nothing. We started our camping life in a ridge tent, but I was much younger and rarely needed to exit into the damp at ungodly hours to find the loo block:rotfl: I had my first little drive (down the campsite last week:j) but haven't inflicted myself on the fellow motorists yet:eek:
Brizzle, you are only 1 county away from us, have a great time:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Good Evening :hello:
Hey! I am just loving the chatter about motorhomesFast considering changing my username to *LeonietheLeprechaun* though, on account of how green y'all making me
DP is absolutely wedded to having a T4 or a T5, certain cc engine, turbo diesel, PAS..... so I think I'll be wishing a while yet...... Plus, being practical, we have nowhere to store it, although we could be like everyone else around here, and have as many vehicles as we want and take up all the parking spaces..... but...................
Currently wondering how Brizzy snuck into the Principality though :think: A mate in Border Control told me that they'd all bases covered and the road blocks were adequately staffed.......
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Today has been marvellous.
We managed to accomplish 5 things off the list, and that is with me taking time out to make lunch (spicy bean soup) and dinner (soon to be pizza and HM Wedges). OK so 2 of the things were quite tiddly, but we've made epic progress elsewhere so I am already one happy easter bun :j
And don't tell DP, but even if we did nothing else on the list all weekend, we've achieved (visually) so much more today than if he'd of continued with what he thought was a priority........
I'm also glad that we are both physically active in our daily lives and that we are fit and able. There was a lot of *grunt* work today, which we've both accomplished. Without our health, we would not have been able to do half as much.
I was a little surprised that we saw no further evidence of swifts/swallows today. I felt sure that we wouldI did however, notice that there is a ladybird *or-gee* going on in our birch tree...... just as well really, as it is already smothered with HUGE greenfly :mad:
Right, I'm going to love y'all and leave you, as I've a pizza to cook and as the tops are already off..........
I'm going to leave whilst I can still [STRIKE]tripe[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]tipe[/STRIKE] hee hee TYPE :rotfl:
Today I am grateful for these 3 things;
good health
being part of a good team -:D
for good weather, good company, good progress and good beer, on this Good Friday
Thank you so much for popping by and chattering. I love it
See y'all tomorrow

Brizzle, your description sounds heaven. Enjoy! And good on yer for driving
maddie, you must be so pleased to be back in Liffy, glad you are both recovered. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who needs a bit of TLC in my senior years :rotfl::rotfl:Well done you for driving her too.
Well, Greying, I came back from DD's (aching from playing footie yet again :shocked:) to find that OH has been gardening and done not one but several Jobs on the list! Yay! He has been rewarded with the last portion of trifle after 'is tea :A Hope you enjoy your pizza & brew :drool: Ooo this icon looks a bit suspect....it's supposed to be 'drool' ????? :rotfl::rotfl:Sealed Pot Challenge #012

OK....... am channelling my inner Gladys Pugh here........
*ting, ping, ting, pong*...... GOOOOOD MOR.NING CAMPERS!:D:D:D :hello:
Well, up bright and breezy. Lots to do today.
DP is orf out just now and won't be back until later this afternoon, so I've my own chore list to accomplish. Most of which will be cooking in prep for our picnic tomorrowSo, actually no hardship there
I've some post to send off and I need to plant on the tomatoes, but I should probably get some new compost first.... hmmm, will have to have a think on that.
Dinner this evening could be anyone of a number of dishes :rotfl: My meal plan has gone a bit haywire, but I will be having the oven on for a while, so I could make something and use the oven space (there are several dishes that would fit the category) or I could go in the direction I am currently leaning and try out a new *curry* (type) dish........
We ended up watching *Becoming Jane* whilst munching our pizza last night. It was ok, probably about half an hour too long, but an all star cast and nice scenery.......
Black olive pizza and wedges last night;
Right, I best shift a tail feather and get a wiggle on with my chores, daylight is a burning
Hope you have a great day, whatever you are up to.
See y'all later.
Edit: I forgot, that I didn't leave the homestead at all yesterday, so can legitimately claim a NSD :j
