If they're not too expensive could use one for wrapping too.

Or some plain wrapping and stencil 30/1977 etc over it with pictures of some of the things from that year.
You can get birthday cards with the year of birth in Clinton. That would give you some ideas as 1977 events would be listed on it.

My local Clinton Cards had all their large cards with years on reduced to £2.00, I think they also play a tune from that year. They had every year from 1950's to 1980's. It also has facts and figures from that year.

I was in LLandaff Infants in 1977 i was 6 and we were given a silver coin in a box for the Queens Silver Jubliee.
Do you know any one that was in school then. As i think most schools in wales gave the children something to remember the day by.(some had mugs i think). Maybe if you can find a close friend or family member of school age in 1977 they may be willing to part with it.
