Hi, Anyone who can suggest a template letter to NRAM, we are in negative equity, going BR & the phone will not stop ringing, we have written to them, to no avail, what is the best letter to send to stave them off for the longest period of time until we can get our s--- together & move into a rental? Thanks.

What fermi say's, jjob.
I was hassled to the extent of 4-5 phone calls a day. They didn't take a blind bit of notice when I asked them to stop harassing us.
I unplugged the landline and asked all family and friends and work to contact me on my cell.
Bliss now ensues.:DAdvertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy crap we dont need!:think:0 -
It will get better trust me.
We got to the point of ignoring the home phone, and researching all of the telephone numbers they used and storing them in our mobile phone so we could ignore them!!
They stopped as soon as we went bankrupt.
Good luck!0 -
OK, so we stop making payments, only one month in arrears! we don't call them? how long before repo' order goes through? OR what should we tell them in a letter to lengthen the proccess? and get them off our backs!!
Thanks, you are all so great! 62 & feel like I am dying!!0 -
Just stop the payments and save for the deposit, rent, moving costs and BR fees. Ignore the phone and letters (unless it is urgent) and find a new place to live and move and then let them know you are out.
Have a read of Grumpy's thread on how NRAM practice https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4446315BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
