If I order a Sky HD box can I continue to use my existing Sky+ box in another room for free?

If you have it installed by Sky it will be deemed a multi-room box and charged an extra £10 per month. If you install it yourself you may need a new LNB on your dish depending on what you already have as you will require two cables for each box. Even then you will need a new card from Sky so again will be charged an extra £10.

I bought my HD box from this guy. He was the cheapest at the time but I don't know if he still is.

Apparently Sky offer this to 'random' customers. I asked and they quoted me £300 plus installation taking it to £360!!! When I asked about the offer you've taken up they flatly refused and I've been on the full Sky package for years. So much for customer loyalty!!

They told £360 at first, I told them I was buying it from eBay, as soon as I said that, they gave me a £111 discount!!!

My experience with call centres is; if at first you don't like what you hear, call again and again, until you do :D

Well done. You're more tenacious than me. I gave up at the first hurdle. :embarasse
