Change Click Energy tariff and get charged "standard prices"!!
If you change from Click Energy 1 to Click Energy 2 they will charge you standard prices from the date of application, as reported by Andy in this forum.
Our application to change from Click Energy 1 to Click Energy 2 was made 10 February 2007. We have been charged 32 days standard prices (from 10.02.07 to 11.03.07)...A PRICE RISE AND PENALTY!!
From 07 Nov 2006 to 12th march 2007 we've paid London Rate 1, 18.519 & Rate 2, 9.842. Totally missed out on the 8th Jan 07 price "reduction"!!
What about everyone else? What happened to you????
We applied too early???
Click Energy write to me "Thank you for your enquiry regarding your electricity account. I apologise for the delay in my reply.
I have checked your electricity account today and I confirm the prices are correct on your bill. Your tariff was transferred from standard prices on to Click Energy 2 from March 12 2007."

Amazingly - - Click Energy "Orginal" is not affected by the March 12th, 2007 price cuts.
I was advised, and I re-confirmed my understanding, that to benefit from any price cuts, I would need to move from Click Energy "Original" to Click Energy2 on March 12th, 2007. If I was to move before that date I would be charged at the Current British Gas "Standard" Rate between the request to change and March 12th.
My changeover in December to Click Energy went smooth enough, but to treat customers like this, and to promote price cuts (They even sent me an e-mail) that will never happen is out of order!
Andy.
