They sell 50 strong ones in wilkinsons for about 3 pound odd it is worth it the best ones I've used they are made from farm plastic something like that they have lasted me along time.I've used quite a few from supermarkets and they aren't very good have to double up 2 binbags in because they were always splitting. The ones from wilkinsons have never split.

I get free bin bags. They come through the door at three or four every week. They're called charity bags. :D

Waitrose. The only ones that are actually strong.

JJ foods do packs of about 80 for I think £6.99, they are a catering company and you can collect from their various depots around the country without needing an account, theirs aren't ultra cheap but they are the very strong bin bags they use in the bins in takeaways and so on, they are usually a good size too xx

We would love to put stuff in these bags for those that aren't scams but we don't seem to have anything they ask for so what is one to do.
We also use supermarket bags which are the size of our bin, we are trying to reduce the amount we throw away, so despite never getting bags from Tesco we are still able to use our Asda & Morrisons bags.
We have always considered plastic bags to be a resource rather than a disposable item and reading this proves just how much this has saved us over the years.

    Check Farmfoods and Home Bargains.
Morrisons, Sainsbury's etc are sometimes ok when they are half-price BOGOF etc., but not at full price.

Yes but they have holes in them for safety reasons so not really much good if you are putting anything that could seep through, plus the smell of the rubbish will come through the holes too.

I don't put anything wet in mine that could seep through. The bag goes inside a bin with a lid, which goes inside a cupboard, so no smell either. You could put one bag inside another and make sure the holes don't match up. :D

If you have a friend who has a Costco card, their 'Kirkland brand' are tough as old boots, and about 10p each.

Don't you have to sort for recycling?

We also get biodegradable plastic bags from the corp, for food waste, which go into the compostable bin. We throw very little food away but they do make good fridge bags.
