Dividing property/land - cost?

Hi All,

Looking to sell my house which also has some land for parking at the end of the row of properties. I was thinking of separating part of that land to keep as it also includes a garage. So I only sell the house and one parking space.

Anyone ever done this - what is the cost of doing something like this?

Thanks :)

These garages were selling 15 years ago for 10k alone. This is in London btw. The rest of the land is about 6 times the size of the garage.

Why do you think this? Surely as the owner of the house, land and garage at the moment all the OP needs to do is instruct his solicitor to separate the garage area from the rest in the registration at the LR. When my mum sold her house and land she did this to keep a section of the land, and as far as I know the additional cost was negligible.
