Section 75 Claim Help Please

Hi All,

I recently bouught a car from a dealer, with part payment on my credit card, which subsequently broke down. I have successfully got the dealer to meet the full cost of repairs. However, he will not meet the cost of recovery.

My question is this - if I submit a Section 75 claim to my cc company for the cost of recovery, will they then pursue the dealer for these costs or do they foot the bill themselves?

    I'm not at all sure you'll actually make a successful claim under §75.
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
    -o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries

    If the breakdown was a breach of contract then S75 would cover this.

    Might cost more than its worth..

    Also as the garage picked up the tab for the repairs the CC may simply say well you will need to chase them.
