Refinanced loan question

Hello all, i'm abit of a lurker and have not been able to find an answer to my question so i thought i'd ask.

I have phoned Barclays regarding a loan i had years ago and asked if it had ppi, i was told i had refinanced my loan 4 times between 2001 and 2003 and all had ppi so that's a 5 loan chain all with ppi.

I have made my complaint on the grounds that i had no idea ppi was placed on them and filled in the forms but what i wanted to know is will i definatley be owed some form of payout as the ppi was probaly all rolled up in these loans?

So to recap the question even if Barclays did find i wanted ppi would i still be owed a payout as i have overpaid on ppi?

Thank you in advance x

The fact these were consolidated loans and Single Premium, this means you received a rebate of PPI from the first loan PPI when you took the next but the remaining PPI went onto the next... and so on down the chain, the PPI on all would have been like a loan on the loan repaid to term end with interest, with the remaining PPI each time, you paid more for the PPI as the chain grew, hopefully these should be upheld.

What do you mean by even if they find out you wanted PPI?

    sorry that sounded abit wrong.
I didn't want the ppi but because i had only had my job a year i thought they may say I'd agreed to it. I've heard of Barclays saying people wanted it when they didn't on other forums and not upholding claims.
