Parking Eye now Debt Recovery Plus

Need some advice!
I parked in a Morrisons car park around towards the end of last year. I didn't realise I had to pay for the first two hours (silly). When I got the 'invoice' for payment - I did as recommended and ignored it. However I now have a scary letter from Debt Recovery Plus.
Others on the forum say to ignore this. But I saw someone had gotten a call for court. I am worried as I don't want costs to escalate.
We have also moved house. I don't want my tenant to be harassed. Is it just letters or can they do anything else?
The post is being redirected - but I don't want things to get out of hand. I spoke to a legal advice line and they said that the chances of them winning in court are small as they have to prove a loss because I parked in the spot.
Not sure what to do. I've never had something like this before!
Thanks

It's not "Peplo", it's "POPLA", and you are far, far too late to appeal to them. Or did you mean PePiPoo?
And you certainly shouldn't pay.
So neither of the options in your silly and slightly irritating poll applies.
When you say "towards the end of last year", was it before or after Oct 1st?
Other than answering that question (and complaining to Morrisons in the strongest possible terms), you can now do nothing except ignore them unless they file a court case against you, in which case ask for more help.Je suis Charlie.0
