How long, on average, does it take for one to hear the results of your medical? I realise this is a 'how long is a piece of string' question, but I've been waiting about 5 weeks. Is that normal? Is that actually shorter than the average? It took them 4 months to book the appointment!

Give them a ring this morning to check that ATOS have sent form ESA85 to them and what the progress is. I know mine took 2 weeks, but I was told it would be 4. But that was in July2012.0

Coincedentally, I noticed £20 just been paid into my account, from the DWP. Looks like I failed by WCA (as expected) and that's the outstanding benefit they owe. I guess the letter will be delivered today/tomorrow.0
