What are you going to do with this inflated asset to allow you to use its stored "wealth"?

Why do you need the value to go up if you are renting it out?

Everyone will be filling their boots. That is except for the HPC goons.

i can't see how anyone can be filling their boots, if you have a mortgage then it doesn't matter if the HP goes up or down , you're not paying any more or any less , the only people affected are those trying to buy , who will find it even harder to get on the ladder , , this will in turn leave them with less money to spend on other things that will help service the economy , the only winners will needless to say be those with a vested interest of prices going up , lets have a few points increase of interest to sort out the wheat from the chaff

    If it goes up enough.
I will sell it for lump sum option.

Its a nice warm felling watching your property increase in value.

    Like any other asset.

Sibley would be an obvious beneficiary of HPI.

Doesn't live in the UK and presumably has little desire to return.
