Balance Transfer Question please

Hi-apologies if this has been covered before-I can't find an answer.

If you get a new % balance transfer credit card with a £3k limit for instance over 27 months,then pay this amount off within 12 months-is it normal/usual to ask for a transfer from another card?

Or can you only balance transfer once? Or does it depend on the card?

Many card providers ask you to do any promotional rate balance transfers within a set time period. For example, on my HSBC credit card, I had 23 months interest free on a balance transfer - but it had to be done within 30 days of account opening. Best to check with the card provider before you attempt the transfer.

And some card providers (eg Natwest) only allow 1 transfer to each other card (which stops you spending on another card then transferring the balance more than once)
