Urgent question - help me please

I urgently need some coolant for my Renault Scenic 2000 (2.0l petrol) as it already smells a bit hot in traffic but I'm off on the motorway on a long journey tommorow and don't want it to overheat!! I need to get some as the previous owner had just been using water!!
The manual dosen't say which one to use.
Any help gratefully appreciated
