Parcelforce Claims Dept not responding to email

boo-hoo

:mad:Does anyone have any experience of making a claim against Parcelforce. We used their Express24 as we had a parcel that needed to be at an event at a hired venue on specific date. They delivered 5 days later and now the parcel has disappeared. They have had all the relevant info they requested. I have contacted them by email, as I haven't heard anymore, as they request. They just don't respond. If anyone has a phone number I would be grateful. See if they ignore a call. I have now sent an email stating that if they don't respond I will take them to the small claims court. Their customer service is diabolical !

Are you a business?
Did you engage Parcelforce direct or through a third party?
When did you actually use this service?0 -
You will receive an email from us confirming that we have received your claim within 14 days. We will review and pay claims as quickly as possible, but please allow a maximum of 8 weeks for inland claims and 12 weeks for international claims.
Are they still within that timescale?
Does the item fall into the excluded list? here
Express 24 only has a 50% refund. Here
If they delivered and now it has gone missing. Then the claim is against where it was delivered to.
While you maybe entitled to claim for late delivery. The loss has to stand to where it was delivered.
You can phone our Customer Service team on 08448 00 44 66, calls are charged at national rates.

We are a very small business. 2 of us. We used Parcelforce direct. We took parcel to local PO. This was at end of May.
They are now outside their timescale. The item was delivered 5 days late. The parcel was for a promotional event so had to be at venue while event was still on.We have contacted venue who have no knowledge of parcel and also person who it was intended for and they never had parcel as wasn't sent on and had left venue with all their stuff on the Friday as parcel delivered to venue following Monday. Parcelforce haven't contacted either of these to my knowledge. We have had acknowledgement of receiving claim and also have sent back to them receipts for the components of our parcel0 -

8 weeks would take it to the end of July if you reported it straight away.
So they are still within the Max of 8 weeks.

Sorry should of been end April posted and put in claim beginning May. We sent hand made jewellery items. It was to promote our business so not only lost the jewellery but any subsequent business we could of gained. Also there's the fact that our jewellery is out there and no-one knows where it is.
It's now been a further week and Parcelforce just don't reply at all anymore, going to phone them and them seek advice0
