Question about WeQ4U

I don't have inclusive daytime calls with my home phone, preferring to use 18185 if I need to make such calls.
However, needed to phone an 0844 number yesterday,and couldn't find a working alternative on Saynoto0870; dialled direct (very reluctantly!) then got put in a queue! so hung up.
Was just thinking - could I dial 18185 -then the access number for WeQ4U (03335432111) -followed by the 0844 number -and use the call back service? Would/does it work??:)

If 18185 present your number then it should work,but they don't normally as they tend to route via overeseas.Then it comes up as Intl Call with no number shown. However nothing to stop you hanging on and waiting to be connected for just 5p providing weq4u have an alternative number.

IME, if saynoto 0870.com haven't an equivalent number, then nor do WeQ4U. (Common source?) When I tried, I was charged as for not using WeQ4U.

I can't answer the Q4U aspect of the OP's question.

0844 numbers are a disgrace as there is no standard charge for calling them and AFAIK they are never included in call packages.

This won't work as weq4u don't process calls without the caller's number (when you use 18185 your number isn't shown to the recipient).
