Halifax bank accounts

I recently was checking the ever growing overdraft charges on my Halifax overdraft account. The amount seemed very high so I checked the Fees terms and conditions within my account which stated I had a fee of £1 per day between £300 - £1999.99 and then £2 a day for time over £1999.99.
So if I was over £1999.99 for 30 days the charge would be a maximum of £60 for a month, yet the last 6 months I had been charged over £83 on 5 occasions.
I then made the mistake of talking to customers services who told me that the charges on the account had changed , adding a third tier of £3 a day for over £2999.99 and it was bank policy to follow these charges. This might be the case but in my account details it was still showing the above the charges.
After no help from customer services I went into branch and showed them the screenshots of the charges and they stated policy had changed at the end of last year and the update had not been completed in the account information. The branch manager has since reviewed my account and confirmed I owed £1 back from everyday they have charged £3 instead of two.
If you are a Halifax customer, who has to use there overdraft, go online into your account and check your summary and overdraft fees as you may have been over charged like me and can claim the charges back.
