Court Summons from Parking eye

jlione
I have had numerous letters from Parking Eye to pay a ticket from last year. Was parked in a doctors surgery car park to change a tyre for 1 hour and 2 mins at 10.30pm at night on a Sunday!!!
I took the advice from here and ignored them and now a court summons taken from MCOL website has landed on my doorstep.
How do I play the next move?
Thanks all

Gather all details together and copy all. Post the same query on pepipoo.com, they have a number of people specialising in this sort of claim. There are also a number of people on here who can help, someone will be along soon.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Ensure that you login to mcol and acknowledge the claim, say you will defend in full, and ask for extra time so you can gather your defence. And as advised pop along to https://www.pepipoo.com for advice also. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Pepipoo may be overly busy with these now so start a thread and then if no help offered, ask a question on your own thread a day or two later. You need to acknowledge the claim and say you will be defending in full. Compare notes with these posters:

OP - do this. kirkbyinfurnesslad is a trusted poster. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
