Window stay extension?

With the hot nights, I'd rather like my casement windows to open wider than the 30 degrees or so the window stays allow.
There is nothing to stop the window opening wider, just no way of holding it in the wider position. I can't leave them with nothing holding them as there is a 10 mph or so breeze.
Has anyone seen any form of extension for window stays? If not, I'll find a way to make a few! Maybe I've found a gap in the market!

If you have the type of metal stays with spacing holes in them fix a longer batten to the underside (with screws) and drill similar spaced holes into the batten. Extend the comfort with an extended stay!0
