Behind my work, LDK recently put the no parking signs up, unfortunalty myself and another colleague had no where else to park! After reading up on LDK we decided to continue parking and ignore any tickets.
Since March we have about 20 tickets each - nothing received in the post. We usually just bin the tickets or stick them on the no parking sign.
However today when I went into work I had to run back out to the car, the LDK man was taking photos of my car and giving me a ticket. He then spoke aggressively to me saying he is taking me and someone else (guess my colleague) to court, as he doesn't even need to find out the registered keeper and he then quoted some act (possibly said freedom??)
He then photographed myself and when I chucked the ticket in my car he took a picture of that to!
Just want to check I'm doing the right thing and just ignore this so called supervisor!
Many thanks

Well you are asking for trouble by abusing this car park without permission. And they may fancy their chances at court. You need to find somewhere else to park or get permission to park there.
As for the tickets , they are unlawful penalties and do not reflect any kind of loss to the landowner. Are they actually writing to you about this? Are debt collectors contacting you? Is this in England or Wales ?When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

England and had nothing from debt collectors and nothing in writing at all.0

Well unless he has superpowers like the Parking Prankster he doesn't know your name and address so he'll have difficulty taking you to court!
So, he will have to find out the registered keeper's name and address. He's supposed to make a separate enquiry of DVLA for every ticket, at £2.50 a time, so that's gonna cost him about £100 for the two of you.
Then, he must wait 28 days from when he ticketed the car for a response from the driver. If he gets no response in 28 days then he has another 28 days to send a Notice to Keeper to the registered keeper.
From what you say it seems you've received nothing in the post, so he's already timed-out on any tickets stuck on your cars earlier than about mid-May. And it sounds like he's pretty clueless so he may well time-out on more of them, or indeed all of them!
He can do nothing without first sending a Notice to Keeper in the post, so you need do nothing unless and until you receive a Notice to Keeper. At that point, come back and ask for more help.
And in the meantime, find somewhere else to park, or get the bus.Je suis Charlie.0 -
Well if they are not writing to you they have timed themselves out of a lot of these tickets, they have between 28-56 days (after parking) to write the notice to keeper to the address that the dvla has on file for your vehicle. So the ones in march have gone.
But it still means that they won't come after you for these fake tickets, they have up to 6 years to make a small claim. So don't bin tickets, if you have already keep a diary of dates you abused this car park. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. But only if they are prepared to do it the pre-POFA way i.e. take a punt that a court will believe that the RK was also the driver.
This lot sound to me like they are as thick as porcine excrement (former clampits I shouldn't wonder) and if they can't manage to get an NtK issued I think the chances of them managing something as complicated (!) as MCOL are vanishingly small...Je suis Charlie.0 -
Is he allowed to take photos of me?0

Yes. So what? It doesn't help him unless he has a database containing mug-shots of every adult in the country, and pattern-recognition software that will identify you from the 10's of millions of others (and I can assure you he has no such thing).Je suis Charlie.0 -

Anyone and everyone is allowed to take photos of you, in a public place.
That's the problem that the 'superstars' have to put up with.0 -
LDK dont do court and he was talking rubbishProud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0

Next time, don't bin the ticket. It may help if, by some chance, they do decide to take it further. Why?
Chances are that the tickets don't meet the strict standards of the BPA COP and, if they do invest £2.50 in contacting the DVLA, they might screw up the NTK as well.
However, I have to say that, although it may not be company policy, if you p*** off the ticketing guy, you might finds that your car's bodywork may gather some new redesign!0
