Suggest you post a Statement of Affairs on debt free wannabee for help with budgeting and tackling your debts. You'll get child benefit, I'm sure others will comment on whether you're entitled to anything else.

Unfortunately debts/loans or the fact that your outgoings are already £950+ are not taken into account when entitlement to benefits is worked out.

As suggested before, you are best heading over to the Debt Free Wannabee board and posting an SOA.

Did you not think of your position financially when you decided to have a kid? You are probably not entitled to anything until the kid is born .

Oh I do hate it when the OP deletes their post! Luckily I read it earlier and can remember a little of it. The OP and their partner have a joint income of around £25k. They have some debt, and I think they said that they live with either his parents or her parents. Their current outgoings are about £950 a month.

The OP was asking about whther they were entitled to anything as they do not appear to be, but apparantly didn't like the answers given!
