WRAG interview.

I am due to go for my 3rd wfi on Fri. My mum has just had a stroke and is very ill in hospital. Because of the worry, my brother is close to another breakdown. He's been sectioned in the past.
I really don't think I can go this time. My head is spinning and I just can't deal with this on top of everything else.
I suffer really badly with depression and anxiety. And I don't know if I'm coming or going right now.
What will happen if I cancel the appointment? Will I get into trouble or be sanctioned?
This is my 3rd interview. But I've not met my advisor yet. The first interview was supposed to be with a regular advisor. But the 2nd interview was with another advisor because my one had left. Now I have this new one.
I really really can't deal with anything at the moment. I am so worried about my mum. She really is very ill, and I'm dreading what the next few days might bring.

You can ask for it to be rescheduled.
If this is refused, and it is found that you did not have good cause to not attend - you may be sanctioned for a period until you do go.
Phone them up, and ask to reschedule.

I agree, give them a ring. When I went to my first on I was told that I could re schedule if I needed to.

It does rather sound like you should be on full ESA.

Try and get it rearranged. If you can't then the best thing to do would be to go and just get through it, its 30/40 minutes of your life and if they sanction you for not attending then it'll being you a whole lot more anxiety to deal with that you won't be able to avoid.

And sometimes the only solution in a crisis if the employer will not be flexible enough is to break your commitment to them.
