thanks to everyone for their comments, I am going to put in an appeal as i feel i have nothing to loose, I did speak to the CSA today and was told that they do not include living costs in their assessment, you have just got to live on what they leave you with thanks again

    Mr Jarhead

Are you not going to explain and give a few more details please?

I understood, Kelloggs also that 'Life Insurance' was not included in an assessment. Honeyloop advises it is and her links do state that they maybe included. Did they include your? I'm sure you know Council Tax is not.

Does your PWC have more than one NRP?

Honeyloop assumed that your child is the eldest your PWC has and PWC is receiving £20.00 pw in Child Benefit (unless she knows you a little better).

Your salary has not increased very much over the years has it, or have you changed your position/hours?

Why would you take out such a higher mortgage after all these years ~ usually it goes down the older we 'get'... especially has your child maintenance obligation has almost ended (I know you have no contact with your child, so that is what you class it as)....are you just trying to rile the PWC or was it because QC age has been increased to 20yrs?

Please can you try to reply.:)

The reason that my wage has not increased is that i work in the public sector so i am on a pay freeze, plus a cut back in hours, My son is 18 and a half, but i did not increase my mortgage to rile my ex, ive been waiting for house in a certain area to be built, I had everything worked out for 01/01/2014 when my son turned 19 to start a live with my g/f, believe me the last thing that i want is to upset my ex as she has caused me no end of bother,

What are the grounds for your appeal?

I know that you have always met your obligations and deserve to live your life with your 'Mrs' after all these years... PWC shouldn't be too fussed anyway, it's still a quite a healthy sum and your son is almost an independent person.

Can you answer the first couple of para's in my post please just out of curiosity, not for your case just regarding the CSA1 formulae.

    Thank you

ps/ Before you appeal have you tried to correct the figure with them first? I know your going to say 'Of course I have tupid'.:o
