I only use my Garmin on holiday. I have it to thank for all sorts of adventures. Life with a Garmin is never boring (yes, Garmin, you can quote me...)

I remember when I met someone I knew but haven't seen since a long time ago, so I got out the satnav to show him where we live now. Sadly the last route we used (when we arrived home) had not been stopped, lo and behold the satnav piped up "make a U turn as soon possible" . Well we laughed very heartily and I said I wish we had a U-boat since we met in the middle of the channel on the ferry.....

If you think that is a bad UK back road, then you obviously don't get out enough....I have negotiated lanes in Devon that make that look like the M25.
Are you sure that the satnav is set to 'quickest route' and not 'shortest route'?

As someone who travels the back lanes everyday, I hope you're one of the 'emmets' that can actually reverse. :D:)
We only call them starting to get narrow when the twin wheels on the rear of a Transit are scuffing the hedge bottom, you fold in the mirrors and shut the windows to stop the vegetation hitting you in the face.
    "make a U turn " ......

But I made her eyes water, badom, tish. Sorry Welsh readers. :rotfl:
    Move along, nothing to see.

At least they're roads you can drive down. There's at least two I pass on the way to the parents house.

One's a farm track. Owner must have got fed up with people trying to get through.

The other even has a no through road sign & 'private road ahead'. Looks like people still tried to get through as there's a 'sat nav diversion' sign been put up.

Voucherman, you might want to change where you have hosted those pictures.

I'm not keen on seeing pictures of men's willies when I'm drinking my morning coffee.

I think the ads are targeted to what sort of sites you've visited earlier :p

Whoops. Must have had the 'adult' tab checked instead of 'family safe'. Taken down until I can replace from suitable host.

    I wouldn't know. I assume you're speaking from experience. :D
