Hidden Mortgage Insurance

I have never had a stand alone PPI policy to claim against but I have been approached by a claims company called Ifonic who claim that major lenders have admitted in court to 'Tying insurance into the interest rate'. So, merely by having a loan or mortgage is grounds for a claim.
Has anyone heard of this or pursued a claim on these grounds??
Please provide any information that may enlighten me.
Thanks

The lenders have admitted no such thing. There has been no court case and what they claim is not actually technically possible.

This cold calling company are known on the web for making these scam calls.

its bogus. If you had continued the call with them, they would have got round to telling you they had an up front fee to pay to allow you to claim this money. It is advance fee fraud. They tell a lie giving you hope of some big pay off to appeal to your greed and then hit you with a smaller up front payment which many people will pay as they are focused on the big pay off.

A good giveaway as well is that it is based on Swansea. The cold call scam capital of the UK.
