Oh, and if in doubt, lie.

Doesn't have to be an outright lie, but you sure can embellish the facts to make them fit the question!0 -
Thankyou

just wanted to say that when I used to sit in on interview panels, one of the key points was that we liked the person we could potentially end up working with. You sound nice, good luck0

"What are the team who work here like?" (makes you sound like a team player) "How long would the training take?" (makes you look keen).
I'm so glad my line of work doesn't demand this - I'm not a team player at all (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
My first ever job interview was with a local court for a civil service type post. They asked how I'd deal with someone who was "3 sheets to the wind"....I was just out of school & didn't understand the question.....still got offered a role though. Think they were desperate. No skills, no previous employment just a handful of naff exam results.
I don't think you'll have any problem at all. if you can keep calm & deal with stroppy kids in a police situation of YOUR OWN FREE WILL then what the heck can you do if they pay you..... take over world/cure terminal illness/predict lottery numbers etc.
You need to see yourself & your abilities/potential as they see you & not as you see yourself & that is hard.....:TLurking in a galaxy far far away...0 -
Well I got through the interview and it wasnt half as bad as i thought, the lady was really easy to talk to and i think i answered the questions ok (she said i did really well). Not sure if i'll get the job as the other applicants are being interviewed on Tuesday but either way i wont be too disappointed because this interview has given me a new confidence and motivation and i'm not going to stop trying until i get me a job!
Thanks again for all your help ladies x 0 -
Well done teabag. I am glad the interview went well and that the experience of it has boosted your confidence. Hope you hear back from them with some good news next week
